Charles M. Lombardi, DPM

Dr. Charles M. Lombardi created this practice in 1984. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Lombardi is the Chief of Foot Surgery and Podiatric Services at New York Hospital-Queens. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Lombardi specializes in diabetic foot care and wound treatment as well as reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Lombardi specializes in difficult and unusual cases including Ilizarov surgery and deformity correction.

In his capacity at Director of Podiatric Medical Education of the Residency Program, he has overseen the training and education of podiatric residents for the past 12 years. He is also a member of the Council on Podiatric Medical Education that sets policy and procedures for the training of podiatric residents to standardize the training programs.

Dr. Lombardi participated in the Healing the Children Program, designed to perform surgeries and reconstructive repair on children in need in third world countries. He is a published author of numerous articles and journal publications, as well as a sought after speaker at many medical conferences on podiatric education.

He has served on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, including as President of the organization which certifies podiatrists nationally in foot and ankle surgery. He continues to serve on the cognitive exam committee and the experience item writing committee of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is Board Certified by The American Board of Primary Podiatric Medicine.

He presently serves on the Council on Podiatric Medical Education, which oversees accreditation of all podiatry residencies and Colleges of Podiatric Medicine.

He serves on the Board of Directors of the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners, which develops and administers Part I, II and III of the national exam testing and licensing podiatrists and podiatry medical students.

Larry M. Silver, DPM

Dr. Larry M. Silver graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1991. He is a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in reconstruction rearfoot surgery, and trained in foot and ankle surgery as well as orthopedics. He is Board Certified in foot and ankle surgery and specializes in diabetic foot care and wound care treatment. He is Board Certified by The American Board of Primary Podiatric Medicine and Orthopedics. He has served as an oral examiner for the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Silver is on the core teaching faculty of the New York Hospital Queens podiatry residency and is a member of the Residency Committee.

Stanley chen, DPM

Dr. Stanley Chen received his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.  He completed a preeminent comprehensive four year podiatric surgical residency program at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens-academic affiliate of Weill Medical College of Cornell University.  He furthered his training by completing an American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons recognized fellowship at Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Center in intensive trauma and ankle joint replacement surgery.  Dr. Chen is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.  He is an AO Trauma Member.  He actively participates in the continuing medical education of podiatric residents and students.  He is part of the core teaching faculty of New York Hospital Queens podiatric residency program.
